Prayer requests
How can you pray for us?
·
"SpeakOut 2014" english camp will start next week
with preparation wee. After the preparation week there will be three campers’
weeks. There are 294 campers who applied. Please pray for the non-believer
students to know God personally. Our believer students will travel to Far East , Albania
and Transylvania to preach the Gospel. Please
pray for these projects, that they can talk with lots of young people about
Jesus and they can build in their faith.
·
Please pray for Lili that she will be healthy and grow well and we become
good parents for her. Her skin color is little bit yellow according to her
child doctor. I hope she will be ok soon. We are grateful to God because she
grows very well. She is four kilograms (8.8 lb) now.
·
In our office our coworkers starts preparing to close the financial year. It will happen without me after lots of years.
Please pray for the all process, because it is a little bit difficult. Of
course, I am available on phone to help. I will do finances some hours a week from December.
·
I will have
opportunity to serve to moms in my church. They are interested in the faith and Jesus. Our pastor
tries to organize a group for them and talk about Jesus and salvation. Please
pray for this opportunity and lots of moms can come. Participate in a ministry
where we try to reach unbelievers is always a privilege for me, because God
gave me this calling lots of years ago.
Thank you for your
prayers! Please keep lifting us up to the Lord! Your partnership in our
ministry is absolutely essential!
Lili one month old
I can't believe Lili was
born exactly month ago. She is a very cute little girl. She lives the babies'
everyday life: eats, sleeps. She is more and more awake. It is visible that she
starts getting to know us and the first smile we obtained it from her. Although
this smile does not necessarily mean that she gave us conscious J. God spoils us with Lili totally,
because she sleeps six hours long in one time. The truth that we did not think
it would happen with our child, but we enjoy it J. Here are some photos from her.

The story of Gergő
„It all started in late October 2013. Just another
ordinary, average day at the university. Then around 6 pm someone called me. At
first I hesitated because I didn’t know the number, I was exhausted and didn’t expect
a call from anyone. But I answered. I
had no idea my life was about to change forever. It was Gábor from FÉK and
he asked me if I wanted to meet him to talk about God over a coffee.
‘Well…sure!’
The reason I said a yes was simple: I was curious. I was raised as a
Catholic but that didn’t change the fact that my knowledge about God was
very-very limited. I went to church every Sunday, said a quick prayer before
going to sleep and sometimes asked for His help. I haven’t even read the Bible.
Not even the New Testament. Then Gábor and I started to talk about what the
Bible actually teaches us about God. So I
started reading the Scripture. But I had many questions; I needed guidance,
I needed reassurance. I needed a Savior. When telling him about my concerns,
Gábor was just smiling and said enthusiastically: But you have a Savior! You
need guidance, you need answers? Accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and you get
guidance you get answers, you get an eternal life in Heaven! Just put your
faith in God’s grace!
That’s it? Faith? I’m saved by just faith? By grace
alone?
Turns out, I am! – Ephesians 2:8-9
Now, more than 6 months later I can honestly say I’ve
never been happier. Since that day in
October I’velearned more and more
about my personal relationship with my Heavenly Father. He keeps teaching me through His Word and I can talk to him through prayer.
I’m truly blessed how much my Father cares forme and my family. If we had met a year ago and you had
told me that by the time I’m 20 I’m done with all the partying and drinking, my
constant anxiety is nonexistent, and I’m truly happy in the Holy Spirit, I
probably would have told you: that’s not happiness when you are 20 and in
college!
Well, it is. How can you not be happy when you know you
are saved? How can you not praise your
Heavenly Father when you know you are blessed in His
Spirit (Galatians 5:22) and you have an eternal life in Heaven? And how can you worry when Jesus told
you: “Do not be afraid, little flock, for yourFather has been pleased to give you the kingdom.” (Luke
12:32)
This is my story. I’m forever thankful to my Father for
meeting Gábor and all my friends at FÉK.”
How God used the Internet to find an 18 year old?
Marci is an 18 year old student graduating from
High School. He is a brilliant young man pursuing an academic career. One day
as he was surfing on the internet he came across an advertisement. "Does
God really exist?" - was the title of it. This ad pointed him to
our new evangelistic website that we've developed a year ago
(www.everystudent.hu). That website has many personal stories of students
who found hope in Christ. Also, it's full of apologetical articles proving the
existence of God along with an explanation of the Gospel, an
opportunity to ask questions and request a personal follow-up. We
advertise this website through various ways. That's how Marci has found us
when he was surfing for something else. He clicked on our ad and was marveled
by what he found there. He contacted us through that website and asked
questions. After trading several emails, eventually he made a decision to
commit his life to Christ. Some weeks ago he also came to our bi-annual YTL
Student Retreat. (See him on the picture above in the white shirt.) It's
truly amazing how God can use various means to reach people with the good news!
Marci's story is just one out of the hundreds whose life had been touched
through this website. Our staff and volunteers are corresponding with over
2000 people who expressed a desire (through this website) to get to know
God. Daily we get dozens of emails saying things like this:- "When I thought that I'm loosing everything that I have achieved in life, that's when I came across your web and started receiving your letters! I'm getting my hopes back that God cares for me."
- "Your letters are very important to me because I live at a remote area where I don't know anybody with whom I could talk about Jesus."
- "These letters I receive from you are giving me great peace. It's great to know that God still loves us."
- "Thank you for patiently listening to me. I can't wait to receive the next letter from you. Everything you wrote was full of truth and gave me great comfort."
